Gartner Recognizes EMNS Provider

July 27, 2022– Kinetic Global, a CEM platform (critical event management) and business continuity innovator, today announced that it has been identified in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Business Process Services. Kinetic Global was named in the Emergency/Mass Notification Services category. [1]

Emergency or mass notification services (EMNS) automate the distribution and management of messages to relevant stakeholders for local and regional events and catastrophic disasters across multiple channels. Recognizing critical shortcomings in panic button solutions or even reliance on 9-1-1, Kinetic Global developed a robust critical event management platform that evaluates incidents wherever employees are–within a large footprint facility, at home, or traveling domestically or abroad.

“Kinetic Global has developed a state-of-the-art event management solution for improved worker safety and enhanced business continuity,” said Peter Cahill, CEO of Kinetic Global. “We are leveraging both emerging and mature technologies to continue to improve our CEM solution. Being named by Gartner as a Sample Vendor reinforces the value of our work.”

Hyatt Hotels Co.’s commitment to employee safety is embedded in its corporate culture. However, as they explored solutions to elevate their employee safety solutions, they recognized the significant shortcomings of many solutions on the market.

“There are a number of “solutions” which ride exclusively on property WiFi systems,” commented Erik Antons, VP Global Security, Hyatt Hotels. “We found, and saw using applications, the disruption and burden this placed in WiFi signals. Further WiFi access points confuse and prevent room-level accuracy. Lastly, what if WiFi goes down? We know it dies. What’s the backup?”

Kinetic Global’s platform maps current and forecasted threat flash points sourced from global intelligence agencies, hundreds of threat analysts, and communities worldwide. This offers real-time alerts for high-risk areas and active threats, predictive analytics, preemptive threat, and local intelligence briefs for safer travel, all while not taxing or being dependent on wi-fi infrastructure.
